Recently I returned from a much needed vacation in the U.S. Virgin Islands.  However while I was there, I had the time away from everything else to sort out my thoughts in regards to the “Wed Without Regrets” book that I am currently working on.  After an extremely busy wedding booking season for 2010, it was a great change of pace to collect my ideas. After much debate and considerable self reflection, I have finally come to the conclusion that I would be writing yet another book.  At the urging of trusted friends and advisors, I have started working on my fifth book, which will deal directly with wedding planning.  The book is aimed towards helping brides and their helpers, but will also offer a great deal of valuable information that any wedding vendor could benefit from as well.

The working title for the book is “Extraordinary Weddings – Perfection Without Buyer’s Remorse!”

The cover design is currently under development and should be finalized just before Christmas 2009.  The planned release date is in the Spring of 2010, but the book will go on presale at a special price on January 1, 2010.

There is absolutely no shortage of articles and pages out there covering creating a budget for your wedding.  More than a fair share of them are simply regurgitated material from other articles that have circulated for years.  And still others are bordering on the absurd and having very little to do with reality.  Or worse still are the articles done by some national media reporters that have gotten lazy, doing little or no research on the subject.  (more…)
