A Workshop for the Grooms

It’s official! Extraordinary Weddings will be conducting a workshop for grooms in conjunction with the 101 the Rose 5th Annual “A Wedding Day at the Eden” in Lancaster, PA. Sorry ladies, this one is just for the guys and will be privately held in the Executive Suite at the Best Western Eden Resort.
Why a workshop for the grooms?
Why just be the Groom, when you can be… THE MAN!!!
After more than 25 years in this exciting and sometimes crazy business, I have noticed that there is precious little for the other half of the newly wed couple – the grooms. I am often asked by grooms what they should do other than just show up. My very first recommendation was for the groom to show up on time and not to be hung over. However over the years my list of recommendations has grown considerably and now includes the groom also being much more involved with every aspect of the planning as well as during the special day. If nothing else, grooms will learn a lot of easy-to-do things that they can use to make their wedding planning much more enjoyable as well as their wedding reception being much more memorable, unique and extraordinary!
The initial response I have received from this workshop has been nothing short of truly inspirational. I now have grooms coming up to me months and even years later thanking me for the advice that I have given them. So grooms, this is your chance to earn some serious browny-points with your bride-to-be! And the brides absolutely love it too; many of the brides I have met with over the past year stated that their grooms would definitely be attending my next workshop – those that do have always told me that they were glad that they did attend.
Why not allow the brides to sit in on the workshop too?
Although many of the brides would love to attend and believe me, most ask if they can, the bottom line is that whatever you do it will mean more if you make it a pleasant surprise. It gives the guys a chance to share ideas and brainstorm new ones based upon the ample information provided. Last but far from least, guys tend to be much more reserved when women are present, so we provide a positive environment for learning and exchanging ideas without any distractions.
I am very excited to be conducting these workshops again right here in Central PA. The first session will be from 12:30PM – 1:30PM. The second session will be held from 2:30PM – 3:30PM. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of time for casual conversation in between the workshops, but be sure to RSVP as seating is limited! Please include your full name, email address, and which session you would like to attend on the Contact Form.
